“For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever.” Psalm 8:18
The needy are not forgotten by Good Shepherd Quilters! During 2023, 89 quilts were made. Many were boxed and sent to LWR. Quilts were donated to the Veterans Home, the local Social Service, the Valley Lake Boys Home, graduates, and newly baptized. As well as regular quilts, many crib quilts were donated to the Moorhead Mission Church. The needy are not forgotten.
Foreign missions received 194,983 quilts. In Tanzania 9,000 children have cozy quilts to help them grow up strong and healthy. In Ukraine, quilts are part of a massive humanitarian response to folks who need it most. LWR sent 24,750 quilts there. LWR quilts are highly regarded throughout the world because of their quality and consistency. Those who sleep under a quilt, sleep under a blanket of love.
